Over the next few weeks, I will be uploading a series of lectures which unpack the five major Historical problems Islam is now facing concerning its early 7th – 8th century history. I call these lectures the “Q” lectures, because the subjects of each begin with the letter “Q” (or at least they sound like they should…)

The five sessions will include:

 1) QIBLAS: An update on Dan Gibson’s newest research, and a critical analysis of his debate with David King.

2) COINS: A look at what 7th century “Islamic” coins tell us concerning the real history of Islam, one which does not support the much later 9th – 10th century Islamic Traditions.

3) QIRA’ATS: An overview of the 30 different Qira’at Arabic Qur’ans which have caused such a furor on the internet these past 3-4 months, due to the new “Holes in the Narrative” argument.

4) QUR’ANS: A look at Dan Brubaker’s over 4,000 changes to the Consonantal Text of the earliest Qur’anic Manuscripts, which confront any notion of the Qur’ans perfect preservation.

 5) QUEST: A Historical quest for any proof of Islam at all in the 7th century, searching for evidence concerning Muhammad, Islam, Muslims, Mecca or the Qur’an.

Join us as we go on this quest together over the next few weeks, or even months
